Research Support Case Study
Request: Totem Consulting is a Human Resource and Business Psychology consultancy in London UK. Totem assessed retail managers of an international Irish company. A focus group, along with various psychometric assessments, were conducted for 80 managers in the UK and Ireland. Assistance from Thinking Cap was provided in collection, analysis, and reporting of the data.
Our Support: Thinking Cap conducted a thematic analysis of the focus group data, as well as an analysis of the Talent Q Psychometric assessment. Thinking Cap delivered final presentation material and reports to Totem and their client.
Results: Data-based recommendations were provided regarding management development and recruitment. Job descriptions were configured to better suit certain management roles and measures for performance evaluation were adapted.
